Every IBC tote that enters our facility � whether destined for resale as used, reconditioning, or recycling � goes through a six-point inspection protocol. This process ensures that nothing leaves our yard unless it meets the condition we promise.
Intake Logging
Every inbound tote is assigned a tracking number. We log the source, previous contents (when known), and date of receipt into our inventory system.
Visual Exterior Check
We inspect the steel cage for dents, bends, rust, and weld failures. Pallet integrity is verified � cracked or warped pallets mean the tote is rejected or flagged for repair.
Bottle Inspection
The HDPE bottle is examined for cracks, UV degradation, discoloration, staining, and wall-thickness reduction. Containers with structural compromise are diverted to recycling.
Valve & Gasket Test
The bottom discharge valve is cycled open and closed to verify smooth operation and positive seal. Gaskets are checked for compression set, cracking, and chemical degradation.
Leak & Pressure Test
Containers destined for reconditioning or Grade A sale are filled with water and pressurized to check for pinhole leaks, micro-cracks, and cap-seal integrity.
Grading & Labeling
Based on the inspection results, each tote receives a transparent grade (A, B, or C) and a dated inspection sticker. The grade, condition notes, and any previous-contents info are recorded in our system.

Stacking & Loading Notes
- Standard 275-gallon IBC totes fit on a standard 48�40 pallet and are forklift-accessible from two sides.
- Empty totes can be stacked up to four high for efficient warehousing and transport.
- Full totes should be stacked no more than two high to avoid cage deformation and valve damage.
- We secure all flatbed loads with ratchet straps and edge protectors. Enclosed van shipments are blocked and braced.
- Liftgate service is available for deliveries to locations without a dock or forklift � just let us know when ordering.
